Qualifications: M.A Degree in Business Management from Kent University in the U.K. Experiences: Selected in September 2005 to head the establishment committee of a real estate company which the state of Qatar relies upon heavily in implementing construction growth projects, then the permission was granted to establish Barwa Real Estate Company to be the biggest real estate development company in Qatar according to Minister of Economy and Trade’s decision number 170 in 15/11/2005.   One of the distinct Qatari competences, and one of the best leading figures,  one of the rising businessmen.   Currently, he chairs a number of Boards inside and outside Qatar, including: al-Jazeera Academy, Aayan Real Estate, Risen Partners Company, Jersey Group, Ghanim Holding Group and Bait al-Mashura Finance Consultations. He’s also been honored to be a board member of al-Baraka Banking Group and Ritaj Investment Company.   He currently holds several important administrative and executive positions including Managing Director of Urban Velvet Company.   Ms. Dana Abdulaziz Al Ansari is the Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance of Barwa Real Estate Group, as well as being a board member of several local and international subsidiaries of Barwa. Prior to that, she worked as Manager of Corporate and Litigation and a Senior Legal Advisor in Barwa. She also lead the establishment of all the subsidiaries of Barwa Real Estate Group. In addition to her legal experience, she has extensive experience in the field of corporate governance, where she contributed to the establishment of the corporate governance function in Barwa and managed the process of ensuring the compliance of the company with the requirements of Qatar Financial Markets Authority. She holds a Bachelor Degree of Law from Qatar University and LLM from Northwestern University, USA. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from IE University in Spain.
